Dr. Ewa J. Antczak, President
School psychologist with many years of experience. She developed the IdealMe program and was nominated for the Mary Neville Award for her contributions to child and youth mental health in the areas of prevention and early intervention. Dr. Antczak is an author of several research papers, books and articles that are related to leadership and attitude change.
M. Janet Kasperski, RN. MHSc. CHE, Wellbeing and Emotional Intelligence
Jan is referred to as a visionary leader of system reform focused on quality, best practices, efficiency and innovations. Her previous experiences as a clinician, educator, researcher and member of several healthcare boards have provided Jan with the underpinnings of a successful administrative career, anchored in a patient and family-centred approach to healthcare. As a skilled consultant, she conducted a governance and operation review of the Ontario Psychological Association and holds the title of CEO to provide her with decision-making authority to make changes as the review unfolds.
Urszula Urac M. Ed., OCT, IdealMe Educational Outreach Coordinator
Teacher with a Master's of Education Degree from the University of Toronto. She has fifteen years experience working with students as a teacher, coach, mentor, and has organized many extra-curricular events at the school and Board level.
Mikolaj Antczak, IdealMe Director
Mikolaj is a student of the University of Toronto. He has participated in the Women in Engineering and Science WIES - Design Competition at University of Toronto run by the Professional Engineers Ontario (PEO). Since 2021, he has been doing his practicum at Bell Canada in the Engineering department. Mikolaj is a member of the multidisciplinary development team of the Talk2Alex app that helps youth with their mental health. He is also a director and business development manager at an international start up company.
Elsa Hsieh, Community Outreach Director
Elsa Hsieh studied both piano performing and teaching at Birmingham Conservatoire, in the UK. She was awarded the 1st prize in the Wales Tystysgrif piano competition in 1988. Elsa also formed her Dolce De Soleil Music group which has performed in many multicultural events. Elsa Hsieh is a music director, and also the vice president of the Distinguished Citizens Society of Toronto and a full-time realtor in Century 21 Green Realty with outstanding achievements. Besides all the concert events, Elsa recently was given an award by the Toronto Waterfront Magazine's Celebrating Outstanding Women annual event.
Dr Ilona Anna Urbaniak, Expert in AI Education
Dr Ilona Anna Urbaniak has her expertise in medical image quality assessment; she conducts research on medical image quality assessment. She has completed her PhD in Applied Mathematics in 2015 at the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Currently holding a Assistant Professor position at Cracow University of Technology, Poland at the Teleinformatics Institute specializing in Data Science. Ilona has been awarded for her work on medical image quality at conferences on several occasions. Ilona is also expert in e-learning tools and educational content in artificial intelligence at the National Academic Research Institute (NASK), Warsaw, Poland.
M. Christine Roth, B.A.(Hons.), LL.B./J.D.
I am a Canadian of Persian and Spanish heritage. I graduated from Osgoode Hall Law school in 2003, and was called in 2004. I opened my firm immediately in Cabbagetown, Toronto, and in 2013, a second office in Cobourg. I practice in Criminal, Family, Civil, Human Rights, Real Estate, Wills & Estates, and Contract Law. I mentor law students, articling students, paralegals, and clerical students, and continue mentoring them after they graduate. I am a member in good standing with the LSO, CBA, OBA [on Council since 2016], CLA, FLA, and NCLA. I have volunteered with OLAP, and AIDWYC, and currently with 100+ Women With Hearts on Executive Committee. I was Chair of Northumberland County Counselling Centre [NCCC], until recently. I have been representing a wrongfully convicted, Pro Bono, since 2012. I am engaged with the new Provincial Government in reviewing of Family and Civil Law Rules and Practices, with the aim of betterment of substantive law and the Rules of Practice. I have been advocating for First Nations, liaising with the Crown's Office, Chief of Alderville First Nation, and Alderville Health and Community Services Branch, Court Workers and OPP, to bring a better Aboriginal Justice Program. My passion lies with access to justice. For that cause, I wrote an Independent Paper: Women and Criminal Justice System in Islamic States - Osgoode Hall Law School 2003; Report to Access to Justice Committee [Civil Rules] -Toronto, in 2013, and hosted Access to Justice on ThatChannel in 2017.
